株式会社TSD（本社：愛知県豊田市）は、長年にわたり培ってきたIT・AIシステムの研究開発実績を基盤に、AIとロボティクスを融合した2つの新規プロジェクトを本格始動したことをお知らせいたします。
当社はこれまで、トヨタ自動車株式会社、中部電力株式会社、IBMソリューションラボ株式会社をはじめとする大手企業へITシステムを提供してまいりました。このたびこの新規プロジェクトでは、2027年12月を目標に、再生医療という成長領域において、社会に新たな価値を提供してまいります。

TSD Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture) is pleased to announce the full-scale launch of two new projects that integrate AI and robotics, building upon its long-standing track record in the research and development of IT and AI systems.
To date, we have provided systems to major companies such as Toyota Motor Corporation, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., and IBM Solution Lab Co., Ltd. With this new project, we aim to deliver new value to society within the rapidly growing field of regenerative medicine.

【AI全自動幹細胞培養装置の概要】
AI・ロボティクス・センシング技術を融合し、幹細胞培養工程の自動化・標準化を実現する次世代装置の開発プロジェクトです。従来、高額かつ高度な熟練技術を要していた細胞培養の自動化と品質均一化により、再生医療の普及に大きく貢献します。

設備コスト: 従来設備 1億円程度 → 当社設備 150万円 (コスト85%削減)
細胞1億個の培養コスト: 従来設備 200万円 → 当社設備2万円 (コスト90%削減)

[Overview of the AI-Driven Fully Automated Stem Cell Culture System]
This project involves the development of a next-generation system that integrates AI, robotics, and sensing technologies to automate and standardize the stem cell culture process. By automating cell culture and ensuring consistent quality—tasks that previously required high costs and advanced technical expertise—this system will significantly contribute to the widespread adoption of regenerative medicine.
Equipment cost: Conventional equipment: approx. 100 million JPY → Our equipment: 1.5 million JPY
Cost to culture 100 million cells: Conventional equipment: 2 million JPY → Our equipment: 20,000 JPY

・コンパクトな設計、サイズ60 × 40 × 50 cm (コピー機サイズ)
・5軸高性能ロボットアームによる熟練技術者の作業完全自動化
・AIとインテリジェントセンサーによるCO₂濃度・温度・湿度等の高精度な環境制御
・細胞解析機能の統合による高度な一元培養管理
・認証プラットフォームで、細胞品質をクラウド管理するを併せて提供、信頼性と収益性を両立
・関連する国際特許1件の出願準備が完了

・Compact design (60 x 40 x 50 cm; comparable to a photocopier)
・Fully automates tasks performed by skilled technicians using a high-performance 5-axis robotic arm
・High-precision environmental control (CO₂ concentration, temperature, humidity, etc.) via AI and intelligent sensors
・Advanced, centralized culture management through integrated cell analysis capabilities
・Cloud-based cell quality management via a certification platform, ensuring both reliability and profitability
・Preparation for filing a related international patent is complete

【今後の展望】
当社はこのプロジェクトについて、国内外での事業展開を視野に研究開発を進め、国内外の大学で臨床データを取り、2027年12月までに、アメリカなどの国で医療機器の使用承認を取得してまいります。
開発・事業化を加速するため、企業・研究機関・医療機関・販売パートナー・投資家の皆様との連携を積極的に推進し、オープンイノベーションによる新たな価値創造を目指してまいります。
[Future Outlook]
We are advancing research and development for this project with a view to expanding operations both domestically and internationally; we intend to gather clinical data at universities in Japan and abroad and secure medical device approval in countries such as the United States by December 2027.
To accelerate development and commercialization, we will actively pursue collaborations with companies, research institutions, medical facilities, sales partners, and investors, aiming to create new value through open innovation.
